"Just reading ur dog fine post, my friend and I were fined £75 EACH for walking our puppies on leads on rhos beach, we even had poo in bags!!! He was horrible and cautioned us and treated us like we'd robbed a bank!!! Our dogs were under control, poo in bags, surely we could of been given a warning or something? Needless to say we are not paying it.....outrageo us x"
Somebody has been fined £75 for walking their dogs on Rhos On Sea Beach with their dogs on a lead and poo bags to the ready.
Just what are the council playing at?
Welsh water can release tons of human waste into the West Shore due to pumping issues and nothing happens, well except the town loose it's Blue Flag status and yet a dog walker in fined £75 for walking their dogs.
Why don't the council just put a huge sign on the A55 turn offs to Llandudno with a huge F Off on it to all decent people that we don't want their money and the town is in the process of closing down unless your on benefits or from Eastern Europe!
Something drastic needs doing about this and someone needs to be put firmly back in their box.

I have decided that Llandudno and the County Council is just a load of crap and we have decided to move to England. F**k Wales, I've had enough.
Dear anonymous, good luck with that. As I fear you will find most of England even crapper! (and I'm English by birth)
Drop us a line when you arrive back in Wales!
Is Rhos beach open to dogs? We have many beaches here on Anglesey where dogs are only allowed on parts of the beach.
dogs arent allowed on rhos beach and there are signs to say just that. dog owners can use the entire stretch of beach from rhos down to old colwyn.
Not relevant to poo! But why do you think people with mental illnesses are a little draining? Lie my son!!!!!!!
I have personal experience of a family member and there is very little respite available and when you here the same thing over and over again about light switches and phones you get fed up of agreeing .
I know nothing of your family circumstances.
Tom cat poo some might might think is a hidden curse until it is ground into your axminster hall carpet Cat wardens should be a priority in this town make the cat owners pay fines for there hairy monsters Ablutions in public.
R.Evans.
This all makes perfect sense after searching "enviromental Enforcement Officer" on Conwy Council's web site. It appears that in December 2012, for 12 months, they have employed a private company called XFOR to do the litter and dog fouling patrols. It says on the Council web site that XFOR dont charge for their service but the council get £30 of every fine and XFOR get £45 for their expenses.
Off topic,
"Like many if us Oscar has his (lets assume he's a he) quirks he uses his very successful blog (Thoughts of Oscar) to tackle a whole range of issues, from bullying (of which he is guilty himself, especially when it comes to PC Mike Smith & his wife!!!) to political issues."
What you been doing now with Smith and his wife you bounder you?
Word to the wise Smith handled a compalint for the guy who wrote this so it stands to reason Smith has been mouthing off to them.
The guy who wrote this and his Mrs also had trouble in their old house with a neighbour and their problem kid and that involved the old bill as well.
If the ticket has been issued by XFOR then they should have filmed the "offence" being committed. You are entitled to see this. They go round in pairs also to back eachother up.
Ask to see the film of the "offence". Film shouldn't lie..
Feed up of the dog muck all over Conwy
Bring back the dog licence
The licence should be £100 per dog with the exception of working and blind dog
There is no excuse for breaking the law If dog owners can't look after their doge they should be banned from keeping a Dog

I'm not familiar with the issue you raise but Smith and his wife are well able to dish it out when it suits them.
Further, like Oscar I'm not a fan of "police" Facebook sites, or fan clubs as I refer to them. It is particularly irritating that he promotes his family and friends via FB. I mean, if he handed out their business cards while on the job surely he'd get a rollicking? Well, that's effectively what he does through his "Likes" on FB.

Dear Fester
I am returning from whence I came. I don't need good luck and I won't be back.
So let me get this right. They were fined for taking dogs on a sign-posted 'No Dogs' beach - is that correct?
If that's so then I'm afraid it's a fair cop guv'nor.
They shouldn't be on a dry beach with a dog - the sea doesn't come up to wash the sand, then kids come along and get digging into poo! Not nice -hope the message goes out to people. There are areas that they can exercise dogs, and they should stick to them.Pay up!!
I dont know anyone who died as a result of standing in doggie doo do you.To many doggy haters here that seems to be the problem.
Dog mess carries Toxicariasis which causes blindness in children.
That aside, nobody is stopping the dogs making a mess. All they are doing is restricting the areas in which they can make a mess and making sure the owners clear it up.
All owners have to do is stay out of restricted areas and clear up. Not exactly difficult to understand or comply with except by the lazy, the stupid or the willfully anti-social.
Well I'm not a dog hater, but I hate getting dog and cat poo on my shoes and I don't want my grandchildren to go on the beach to make a sandcastle and dig it up, probably get it on their hands as they scoop up the sand and risk going blind as a result.I have a dog myself and make sure that it usually does what it has to in my own garden where I can pick it up, but take out a doggy bag just in case. And I never take her anywhere near a childrens' playground.I did have a bad experience though with my previous dog who went on the beach (where allowed) and went sniffing about in the rocks. She ended up with a barbed fish hook in her nose that the vet had to cut off - on a Sunday too. So there are more hazards on the beach due to careless fishermen - also irresponsible adults.
never heard of toxicara asshole#
You've never heard of it? Really? Just arrived from outer space have you?
I noticed yesterday what appeared to be newish signs on Rhos beach re restrictions. I have a dog (small so small poo!) andpickup after her all the time. Dog poo can cause blindness! Basically the people who were fined dont have a case against paying - however the way they were treated isnt right and that is my issue - the XFOR are like the gestapo- there are ways and means you know!
