Pentraeth and Slaters lose their dealerships and a firm from away gets to cream off the profit.

I know Ken Jones puts a lot back into Ynys Mon, dont know about Slaters.North Wales will be poorer as a whole if development goes ahead.Customers from Cheshire/wrexham area wont travel to buy from Junction and VW control the supply of vehicles to dealers, Quota/undersupply of vehicles ensures that dealers wont discount their cars.

We need wealth creators and not wealth distributors in Britain.
Have a look at annual trade deficit and you'll see that Britain is heamorrhaging wealth.

Fair comment ..but with the whole Wales in aa political Flux and Conwy council's ever increasing greed greed. How the heck are we going to create,or even attract wealth makers
Conwy has earned a reputation of living off the backs of the rest of the UK and the begging bowl of the EU object one Grants .
I don't know about the UK but Conwy has certainly bled it's wealth

It will be approved on wednesday..

Immaturity of Conwy Councillors on Planning. If someone shouts loud enough the others will follow.

This has to be approved, else will be lost on appeal and cost taxpayer more. also would further delay this development which has been in the pipeline for a over a year.

Trouble comes when the councillors don't follow professional advice.

They are supposed to be trained to deal with planning matters but sometime you do wonder.

@anon 7an 19:14. Depends on the quality of advice from officers. They dont hold a monopoly on wisdom.

It's not going to create alot of jobs, is it for the size of the site?
And if staff are transfered what help will that be for local's

And it came to pass that on the ninth of January 2012 the plans were approved, just as if by magic or divine intervention.

More lies told by developers. There will be a handful of new jobs not the 150 promoted, as most will be transferred from closed sites in Abergele and Pentraeth. How many palms have been greased and s106 monies extracted for 'local activities' ie supporting Councillors pet projects.
