Feed The Kiddies.

Tell me, does anyone know if the Conservatives are still trying to stop the children having a decent free breakfast if they need one?
I know that at one stage Dareen " Windy " Millar was hell bent one having them stopped, a campaign I personally think is a disgusting one considering the poor children who come form deprived backgrounds whose mothers think that a packet of crisps in some cases suffices for a decent breakfast.
It should be about helping the children whilst at the same time somehow or other educating some of the parents.

Steralise them before they get pregnant and the father goes down the pub on the child benefit.

14.22 agreed, if they have more than one and are single and expect benifits, go for it.
Don't have what you cannnot afford, that goes for all the material things as well.

What happened to couples feeding there own kids, getting up in the morning and feeding them before going to work?
Well they became dependant on a welfare state that today's older persons have provided.

They problem is that the ones in genuin need don't get and those that are experts in fleecing the system get all.

BIG BIG changes are needed, the only trouble is what party has the guts to do it. I do not think anyone we have at the present time has.
Go to prision and it is like a five star hotel, be on a pension and struggle.

Breakfast Clubs in primary schools are beneficial not just because it feeds them, but because they then learn easier (which in turn makes the teachers jobs easier) because the child can concentrate deeper and for longer, and the child is less likely to be disruptive if they have had something to eat (therby being beneficial to the other pupils)

It's win-win which ever way you look at it.

I have give up trying to understand just where people in Conwy are coming from!

I don't mind put my hand in my pocket for charity

But what is being done in the name of charity in Conwy is a total nonsense .
