"This year Parliament sat until Thursday the 20th December which is
much later than usual. It makes me quite jealous of the Assembly Members who
went into recess two weeks earlier. Whilst I fully understand that an MP is
sent to London to represent a constituency, and I try my best to do that at all
times, it is a shame that at such a busy time of year as Christmas I was unable
to accept so many invitations to community events that were held during the
first three weeks of December."
