"I would like to hear the publics opinion about the public house
THE BOATHOUSE in Rhos on sea.
It is quite obvious that what goes on in there is by no means within the law.
There is fighting there most weekends drugs being passed to and fro and the police don't seem to have any control over what is going on there.
Can someone please explain why this public house is so different to the other surrounding ones?"

The guy in the boathouse who runs the place was convicted of threatening his girlfriend with a knife was he drugged up at the time he received 200 hours community service and is left to run a public house come on north Wales police do your stuff do what you are paid for stop this from going on

It is obvious here what the problem is the boathouse refuses to have professional door men in to keep on top of what goes on in there. The management choose to run it how they want,do what they want, sell what they want without any interruption from anyone.No wonder all the punters are at each others throats they are out of control.Everything goes there,as long as your full of the boathouse fuel???

I presume by reading the above comments that its someone who has a personal vendetta against the pub/management. More than likely the thug who assaulted the landlord and lady outside their private home on Christmas eve. They happen to be pensioners dragged out of their home to be victims of an assault. This site is meant to be non-biased but anyone with common sense can see what is going on. Petty.
It's plain to see that the comments above are made by 'someone' with a personal vendetta against the pub and management. However,they don't care to mention a mindless assault on the landlord and landlady outside their private home on Xmas eve when they were drawn out of their home and victims of a mindless attack by a mindless thug. It's plain to anyone with common sense that all these comments are made to draw people in to make rash judgements against the pub with no knowledge whatsoever of the circumstances. And as this site is against defamatory comments, will anything be done about the people and their allegations towards the pub and management?! I highly doubt that. I believe whoever is writing this is obviously a coward hiding behind a keyboard and this is the only way they can get their point across without knowing the facts.

Let’s not defer from the original question how the boathouse is managed so differently to the surrounding ones.
This is about the way the boathouse is run and how the management deal with problems brought on by excessive drinking and drug consumption, it is obvious their strategy is to kick their customers in the head whilst they are filmed by other customers, not a very professional approach if you ask me.

You seem to know an awful lot about the "supposed" goings on at this place. Or are you going off rumours and not actual fact. Do you actually know how the pub is run, or think you know. Do you know what happens there, or think you know. I'm surprised myself with all these goings on that if they are true, why do local people still frequent the place. A lot of small minded petty people are quick to judge and jump on the bandwagon. I hope you don't fall off as you may get hurt. And back to yet another anonymous comment, I was under the impression most other comments were about all who frequent the place. Do you actually know the management there, or are you yet another sheep following the crowd?? Allegations without fact can have serious repercussions as you are probably aware. I've drank there since I was old enough to drink, and will continue to do so as I've never had an issue. But then again, I don't judge on rumour. I judge on fact.

These comments are being made by a guy who's on a life ban pubwatch,and cannot drink in the county let alone the boathouse where these allegations are being made. Previous to obtaining life pubwatch, he spent the preceding 4 years in prison for assault. His last charge was an assault on a female,so these comments can be taken with a pinch of salt. The allegations made about cultivating drugs and drugs being a part of the way the boathouse opperates has not been addressed.
The boathouse defenders seem to concentrate on putting down and discrediting people people who have obviosly served their punishment for their crimes.
Lets talk more about the goings on in the boathouse and the drugs the son of the owner grows in the flats they own over the road from the pub.
