This is a an attempt at giving an honest opinion of how I see certain things of interest in the Conwy County area of North Wales, Current affairs in general, and an assortment of general thoughts, also to take an odd pop at those in public life who get a bit too complacent to the needs of the area and local people.

There are a many people out there who feel the same way, and have neither the place or time to air their views.
The silent majority.
the people are the masters!

Embarrassment perhaps?

I could quite well understand the embarrassment of being labelled a Liberal, but if one is standing for election for a paid post one must have a duty to make it quite clear to the electorate which party one is standing for.
This 2 sided missive from a man called Boon uses the words Liberal and democrat once in the whole address.
The first clue I had was when I saw Roger Roberts recommending him.
We also have him endorsed by the local spokesman of the Federation Of Small Businesses.
Are we to take it then that the federation endorses the Liberals or is it just a personal view?
Either way it is the first time I have ever seen such an election address where the candidate makes such a low key of the party he is standing for.
Be aware!

A major opinion poll has found that the Liberal Democrats will almost lose all but seven of their 57 seats at the next general election in Britain.

The opinion poll carried out in the Lib Dems strongholds suggested the party will be almost wiped out at the next general election with the most high-profile casualty the party’s leader and deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.

According to the YouGov poll for The Sun newspaper, Nick Clegg and cabinet colleagues including Business Secretary Vince Cable, ex-Energy Secretary Chris Hune and Treasury Chief Secretary Danny Alexander are among top guns getting the boot.

They were always onto a loser,if they had decided not to join either party in government then it would have been a new election and people would have said weak, they do join a partyand Labour slaughter, sore grapes, the tories say nowt but just snigger,it will be a shame if we are stuck with just the Tories and labour, i hate them both with a passion.

The Blue Bell has gone a bit wild west since it re-opened. At least poor old Ken managed to keep a lid on things most of the time.

Read on and pass on: Dear Prime Minister

The RT. Hon. David Cameron, MP.

I wish to ask you a Question:- "Is This True?"

I refer to the Pension Reality Check.

Are you aware of the following ?

The British Government provides the following financial assistance:-

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER (bearing in mind they worked hard and paid their Income Tax and National Insurance contributions to the British Government all their working life)
Weekly allowance: £106.00?

IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN (No Income Tax and National Insurance contribution whatsoever) Weekly allowance: £250.00

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER Weekly Spouse Allowance: £25.00?

BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER Additional Weekly Hardship Allowance: £0.00?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS/REFUGEES LIVING IN BRITAIN Additional Weekly Hardship Allowance: £100.00

A British old age pensioner is no less hard up than an illegal immigrant/refugee yet receives nothing BRITISH OLD AGED PENSIONER TOTAL YEARLY BENEFIT £6,000?

Please read all and then forward to all your contacts so that we can lobby for a decent state pension. After all, the average pensioner has paid taxes and contributed to the growth of this country for the last 40 to 60 years.

Sad isn't it?

Surely it's about time we put our own people first. Please have the guts to forward this. I JUST DID!

His name is Mcnamara and he has just fought and won to have a major tourist facility constructed in the town.

He is also a succesful businesman and fights for local tourism issues so why would you not vote for him unless you are against anyone who has some common sense.

McNamara is a Brummie, lives up the orme, only been in the town a few years.
Constant complainer about the boys home on abbey road.

Perhaps I am not alone in not having heard of either Sweeny or McNamara. Real business people in Llandudno simply can't be bothered with local government hence the composition of both Councils.

Andy Mcnamara, educated in south Wales Worked in birmingham for Many years owned propertey in Conwy 15 years Lived in Llandudno 10 years Local Hotel owner, Defends the right of residents and business owners to live and work in a peacfull envioroment, as is the right of all residents.

Any other info needed?

F******g Bozo!
He owns the Annan bed and breakfast on Arvon Avenue and runs the hotel blog.
Conservatives very lucky to have such an outstanding candidate in him, same goes for Mr Burchett, outstanding retailer who has a busy shop in Kings road and opposite the Junction station.
We need more of their sort to educate the council officers.
Now leave off dick heads!

Trouble is that whoever is elected has to comply with the Code of Conduct. This seems to be how the establishment keeps councillors in check.
